Our story

We didn’t mean to fall in love with pickleball. It started innocently enough—just a little dinking here and there. A Saturday morning hit. A “sure, I’ll play one game” moment. Next thing you know, we’re deep into a YouTube vortex on paddle core materials, debating power vs. control, elongated vs. standard shape, etc.
Pickleball isn’t just fun—it’s freakishly fun. It’s social. It’s competitive. It’s sneaky cardio (that we actually enjoy). And unlike other sports, it doesn’t require years of practice to be halfway decent.
Hot Kitchen Pickleball Company was created to solve a problem. Pickleball paddles generally fall into 2 buckets:
1. Paddles that played like beasts - but forgot fun was part of the game.
2. Paddles that looked like a party - but played like hot garbage.
So we set out to make paddles that were fresh, top shelf, and absolute killers on the court.
After a year of research, testing, and swearing, we landed on the perfect formula: performance meets personality.
The paddle world needed flavor, so we turned up the heat. Hot Kitchen Pickleball hit the scene.
We launched our first collection as a tribute to our roots in the Bold City (aka Jacksonville, FL)—because where you come from matters. But as Hot Kitchen has grown, so has our story.
Our founders live in — and are deeply connected to — multiple communities across the country. From Jacksonville, Nashville, Detroit, Baltimore, Orlando and more, these places shape who we are, how we play, and what inspires us. So naturally, they shape our designs too.
That’s why Hot Kitchen paddles and apparel are built to speak local.
Local pride. Local energy. Local edge.
Each market we expand into isn’t just another dot on a map—it’s a place we’re tied to, a culture we respect, and a vibe we want to bring to the court. Same elite performance. Same unmistakable Hot Kitchen heat. Just seasoned with a little hometown flavor.
